Know your leased line price before you speak to anyone
If you’re a business in Kent or the South East and you’re looking at a leased line, the first questions are usually the same:
“What will it cost per month?” and “Is there an install fee?”
This page gives you a realistic, postcode-based price for a dedicated fibre leased line into your premises. No vague “from £XXX” pricing — you’ll see an estimate based on your address, chosen speed and contract term, straight from our carrier systems.
The tool can quote leased line options up to 10Gbps, subject to carrier availability at your postcode. That means you can compare anything from smaller business connections through to high-capacity dedicated internet for sites with heavy cloud, VoIP, remote access or data transfer requirements.
How to use this calculator
How to use this leased line pricing tool
- Enter your business postcode and click Find address.
- Choose your exact address from the dropdown list.
- Pick your required speed, bearer and contract term. Available options may include speeds up to 10Gbps, depending on your location and carrier availability.
- Click Get leased line estimate.
You’ll see:
- Estimated install cost (ex VAT)
- Estimated annual rental and monthly rental (ex VAT)
- Which underlying network the quote is based on
- Available leased line options, including higher-capacity services where available
Underneath, you can then add optional firewall and managed IT services to see the total monthly cost for a fully managed, secure connection, not just the raw circuit.
Check leased line pricing from entry-level business connections through to high-capacity options up to 10Gbps, subject to postcode availability.
Turn your leased line into a fully managed, secure service
The price from the tool above is for the leased line circuit itself.
Use the options below to see how the cost changes if you:
Add a managed firewall with Total Security
Add a managed IT support package (Business or Premium) for the users on that connection
The total at the bottom will show your combined monthly price for:
The leased line
Any firewall you choose
Any managed service bundle you select
We’ll use the pricing shown above to prepare a proper leased line order review before anything is placed.
Straight answers to common leased line questions
Is this the final price?
This tool gives you a strong, postcode-based estimate based on real carrier data.
The final price is confirmed once the carrier has completed their checks and, in some cases, a site survey.
If the confirmed cost comes back higher than shown here, we’ll explain why and talk through options before anything is ordered.
How long does a leased line take to install?
Typical lead times are 45–90 working days from order, depending on the carrier and whether any extra civil works
(for example digging in the road) are needed. Having said that we had a leased line installed within 3 weeks recently.
We’ll keep you updated at each stage and can often provide temporary connectivity options if you need something sooner.
Is the install cost always chargeable?
Not always. On some promotions the install fee is reduced or waived for longer-term contracts (usually 3 or 5 years).
If your quote looks high on install, we’ll check current offers with our carriers and tell you if we can reduce or remove that cost.
What’s the difference between speed and bearer?
Speed is the bandwidth you’re actually buying (for example 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps).
The bearer is the maximum your circuit can support (for example 1 Gbps bearer with 100 Mbps committed).
Starting with a lower speed on a higher bearer can be a cost-effective way to grow into more bandwidth later
without a full reinstallation.
What do the firewall options include?
Our Firewalls with Total Security options add:
- A business-grade firewall appliance sized for your number of users
- Advanced threat protection (intrusion prevention, web filtering, VPN, etc.)
- Ongoing management, updates and monitoring by KES
If you’re handling sensitive data or rely heavily on cloud services, the firewall option is strongly recommended.
What’s the difference between Business and Premium managed services?
Both packages include proactive monitoring, security and support for your users and devices.
Premium adds:
- Unlimited remote support during business hours
- Faster response on urgent issues
- Advanced security features (XDR, awareness training, enhanced email protection)
